ERC – Advanced Grants: Registration Open for UK National Contact Point Events

Two UK ERC National Contact Point information and proposal writing events on the 2014 ERC Advanced Grants call are now open for registration. The sessions are designed for researchers based in or moving to the UK who are planning to submit a proposal to the 2014 ERC Advanced Grants call, as well as for research support staff. Each session will provide a detailed overview of this funding scheme and cover the key issues relating to planning, writing and costing a proposal.

The sessions will be held as follows:

• Newcastle University, Wednesday 11 June 2014
• King's College London, Monday 16 June 2014

Participation in these events is free of charge, and each event will run from 11:00 to 15:00. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Further information on each event will be provided upon registration.

The 2014 Advanced Grants call is expected to open on 17 June 2014 and close on 21 October 2014. Some €450 million is expected to be available for this call, with around 200 grants estimated to be funded.
