AXA Post-Doctoral Fellowship Funding Opportunity

The second campaign of AXA Post-Doctoral fellowships for 2011 has opened. The Post-Doctoral work financed by the Fund must fall within the scope of one of the themes identified by the AXA Scientific Board. The themes for 2011 are identified below, and can also be found on the website of the AXA Research Fund: http://researchfund.axa.com/areas-of-research-eligible-for-funding

Life Risks	Socio Economic Risks	Environmental risks
Aging and long term care	Geopolitical risks	Natural Catastrophes
Addictions and risky behaviours	Macro-economic  risks	Risks linked to climate change

Please note there is a limit of two applications per institution.  The two application candidates for St Andrews will be selected by an internal application process.  Guidance for this process can be found at:  St Andrews Application Process

Applications to the St Andrews internal process 26th August 2011 (5:00pm GMT)

Institutional proposal of candidates: 9th September 2011 (11:59 am French time) 

Application of selected St Andrews’ candidates: 3rd October 2011 (11:59 am French time)
