ERC - Starting Grants: Booking Open for UK Information and Proposal Writing Events

The UK Research Office, in its capacity as UK National Contact Point (NCP) for the ERC, has in partnership with institutions from across the UK, organised a series of information events for researchers who are based in or moving to the UK and are interested in applying for the ERC Starting Grants. The sessions will be of particular interest to UK-based researchers planning to submit a proposal for the Starting Grants.

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and the events will take place at: 
  • University of Manchester, Wednesday 7th September 2011 
  • London School of Economics, Thursday 8th September 2011
  • University of Edinburgh, Friday 16th September 2011
  • London School of Economics, Wednesday 21st September 2011
Please note that, to be eligible for the ERC-2012-StG call, the Principal Investigator (PI) must be 2 to 12 years after the completion of their PhD, which can be extended up to 16.5 years in certain (strict) cases.
